GardenWizz collects information to run the website, answer messages and, if you allow it, understand which pages visitors find useful.
What we collect
- Browsing. There are no visitor accounts, sign-up forms, newsletters or comment system.
- Server logs. Our hosting and security providers process standard request information, including IP addresses, requested pages, browser details and timestamps, to deliver and protect the website and diagnose problems.
- Email. If you email us, we use your address and message to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Optional Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and general engagement. Google may process browser and device information, page addresses and approximate location. Analytics stays off until you choose Allow analytics. Declining does not limit access to the site.
We remove query strings and fragments from page addresses and referrers sent by our integration. We do not send form contents or enable automatic form tracking, site-search tracking, Google Signals or advertising personalisation.
Google processes Analytics data on its infrastructure, which can be outside the UK. See Google's explanation of information collected from partner sites. Our cookie policy explains cookie lifetimes and your saved choice.
You can withdraw consent using Analytics settings in the footer or . This stops future collection and removes this site's Analytics cookies; it does not erase previously collected information.
Affiliate links and contextual adverts
Some pages contain labelled Amazon Associates links. Following one takes you to an independent retailer, which may receive referral information and use cookies under its own policies. GardenWizz does not receive your merchant account details or payment data.
Our published adverts relate to the page topic. We do not create a cross-site advertising profile or sell personal data.
Website services
Hosting and security providers process requests to deliver, cache and protect the website. Core fonts are served from local website assets.
