Plant safety and toxicity

Toxicity notes in our fact tables are general guidance only. Never eat or use any plant based on our content alone — verify with an authoritative source first. If a person or animal may have been poisoned, contact a medical professional or vet immediately.

AI-assisted content and images

GardenWizz uses modern AI tools in its writing and illustration process. Plant facts are extracted from cited reference sources (each plant page names its source) rather than generated from thin air, and where a source doesn't state a fact we leave it blank. Content is reviewed before publishing. The photographs on this site are produced by our own image-generation pipeline and are illustrative — they show realistic garden scenes, but fine botanical details in an image should not be relied on for plant identification.
