Terms & Conditions

Welcome to GardenWizz. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

GardenWizz is an independent UK gardening website providing plant guides, growing advice and gardening features ("the content").

2. Use of the site

You may browse, read and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, scrape or redistribute substantial parts of the site without our permission.

3. Content and accuracy

Our content is general gardening information, provided in good faith. We work hard on accuracy — plant facts are drawn from cited sources and content is reviewed before publishing — but gardening conditions vary enormously and we cannot guarantee that everything is complete, current or correct for your specific garden. Content on this site is not professional advice.

4. Plant safety

Never eat, drink or apply any plant based on our content alone. Where we list toxicity information it is general guidance, not a safety assessment. Always verify edibility and safety with an authoritative source first, and keep plants you are unsure about away from children and pets.

5. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GardenWizz accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

6. Intellectual property

The content, design and images on this site belong to GardenWizz unless otherwise stated. Botanical facts themselves are not owned by anyone — our presentation of them is.

7. External links

We link to external sites (and may in future include affiliate links — see our disclaimer). We are not responsible for the content of external sites.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
